If you’ve had a tooth extraction, a blood clot will form which is essential to the healing process. To prevent disturbing the blood clot, avoid sucking through a straw, sneezing or blowing your nose, or touching the area.
This should be avoided until your mouth has healed.
Yes, you should still brush your other teeth as normal, being careful to avoid the area of extraction until it has healed.
